TEER 0: Management Occupations

You must submit an Express Entry on-line profile where you give information about yourself, such as skills, work experience, language ability, education, etc. Once you submit an on-line profile, the federal government determines if you are eligible. Eligible candidates are accepted into the Express Entry pool and are ranked according to the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) which is a points-based system used by the government to assess and rank candidates in the Express Entry pool. The CRS score is based on your age, education, work experience, language skills as well as other factors.

Approximately every two weeks, the Canadian Government selects the highest scoring candidates from the Express Entry pool and provides them with an Invitation to Apply for permanent residence. If you are invited to apply, you will have 60 days to submit your application. Currently, the processing time to finalize applications is approximately 6 months. If you do not get invited within twelve months of having an on-line profile, you may re-enter the pool, providing you continue to meet the eligibility criteria.
